Easily compare consensus to individual brokers within the Surprise and Revisions Charts. Within these charts, ‘click’ on the source drop down and select the sources you would like to include in your chart.
For Surprise Chart, the default is to chart only consensus. For the Revisions Chart, the default charts consensus and the highest and lowest estimate over time. You can compare up to 4 sources at the same time.
Within the formula bar (keyboard shortcut “F”), you can view two additional data points “ConsensusExMax” and “ConsensusExMin”
ConsensusExMax calculates consensus after removing the highest estimate, ConsensusExMin calculates consensus after removing the lowest estimate.

Many clients have found our revisions analysis tool to be an incredibly useful way to track revisions to key forecasts since earnings (or other dates). Several have expressed interest in seeing the data on a Y/Y (year over year) growth basis- we’ve just added that to the platform
In order to view data on a Y/Y% growth basis, switch on the Show YoY% toggle in the Revisions Analysis screen.
