With a new option on the Upcoming Earnings module, you can now preview the latest consensus estimates for a reporting company with a single click.
Review our earnings calendar and click on the monitor icon to check out the latest estimates for the current quarter and revisions for the company on the Line Item Monitor. You can also click on the ‘Excel’ icon to download a print-friendly Earnings Preview or Surprise Analysis Tear Sheet.
While already available through the Excel Add-in and API, you can now export our industry-leading VA Actuals as the default source for historical data through our Excel Export function. You can also view VA Actuals in our Earnings Preview and Review Tear Sheets.
To see how we calculate VA Actuals, click on the formula bar. Within this view, you can see the number of brokers forming the mode. You can also compare the numbers to the actual reported number of the company.
In order to make the Revision Charts even more informative, you can now go back further in time. Discover how estimates trended before the company reported, as well as how many brokers were present in each consensus number.
To access Revisions Charts, right click on any data point in any company view or on the charts icon.
