During this sprint, we relaunched our Resource Tracking filters to help our users analyze their resource consumption with greater ease and clarity.
Redesigned Filters Bar
After extensive testing and feedback from our power users, we launched the new filters bar to enable our users to extract the insight they want clearly and quickly.
We narrowed down our ‘Quick Filters’ and kept only the most commonly used filters: Date Range, Broker, Interaction Category, Investor Attendees.
The date range filter has been updated to make it much simpler for users to select Start and End dates, while still offering preset time windows such as YTD and QTD.
Selected filters are clearly marked in both the filters bar and the data grid. Users can clear filters individually directly from the filters bar or completely reset the filters with the “Clear Filters” option.
The remaining filters are tucked in the new Additional Filters builder. The builder remembers previously selected filters and only shows the fields users filter by. This keeps clutter to a minimum while giving access to the metadata users care about.
Excel Export Performance Gains
To both improve export speed and allow users to consume the data in their preferred format, users can now choose export formats. Additionally, we optimized large export performance, yielding speed gains of over 5x. This optimization will significantly cut down our users’ wait times getting data out of the system.
