The Forward Calendar allows you to discover, request, and track corporate access events across your research providers in one easy to use platform. Below is a detailed guide on how to customize the Forward Calendar for yourself or your team.
Log in to your account at https://oneaccess.io. If you have forgotten your password or require a password reset, follow the steps below to gain access to your account.
- Navigate to https://oneaccess.io.
- Click on Forgot Password.
- Enter your corporate email address and create a new password. A verification email will be sent to you.
- Click on the link in your verification email. This will redirect you into the ONEaccess platform.
When you log into your Forward Calendar, the Inbox will display all available events based on your approved entitlements. To begin customizing your calendar, go to My Interests in the left-hand navigation bar.
- Within My Watchlists, download the template at the bottom right of the screen.
- Add your Bloomberg tickers into the watchlist template and ensure exchanges are included.
- Click Upload Your File and upload your watchlist.
- Create a title for your watchlist to identify it in the platform.
- Click Save on the bottom right.
To edit your watchlist, click into the watchlist you have already uploaded. You can delete or add individual tickers or upload a new file.
To share your watchlist, hover over the watchlist name and click on the blue button that appears to the left of your watchlist.
Click on this button and enter in the email address of the individual with whom you would like to share your watchlist. You can only share your watchlist with a team member who has a ONEaccess account.
You can customize your event types, sectors, and locations in My Interests. Adding event types, sectors, and locations will allow you to add these customizations to your calendar filters easily.
Once you have customized your interests, you can combine them to create custom filters for your calendar. To do so, click on Create Custom Filter in the left navigation bar and add your filters. Name your filter and click Create. You can create as many filters as you’d like.
To request access to an event, click on the event and click Request Access on the main tab or within the detailed window on the right.
The Request Access window will pop open to allow you to complete your details. Enter your salesperson’s email address to send the request directly to them. You can CC your research coordinator or team admin as well to ensure they are aware of the request.
To create a daily digest, click on your name in the top right and select Notifications.
You can set up your Event Digest in Excel or PDF and create sections based on custom filters or watchlists. Select how far out you would like to look forward and how often you would like to receive your digest (day and time). Before saving, ensure that the Receive Digest box is checked.
To request access to view events from additional brokers, navigate to Access & Admin in the left navigation bar and then click on Broker Access. To request access to a broker, click on the toggle next to the broker’s name. This will send a request to the Visible Alpha team and your entitlement request will be sent directly to the broker.
To add sales coverage to the platform, navigate to Access & Admin in the left navigation bar and click on Sales Coverage. Every broker to which you are entitled will appear in this list. You can add multiple salespeople for each broker. Ensure that you have marked your salespeople active in the platform.
When you request an event, you will then have the option to select your salesperson.
To create an event in ONEaccess, navigate to Inbox and click Add New in the upper right hand corner.
In the “Add New” page, fill out event details and all required fields. To save your event, navigate to the upper right hand side of the page, and select Save. You can also select to save and add another event or save and duplicate your event.
The attestation workflow allows you to attest that you did not receive proprietary information at an event you attended. Each event within the attestation workflow must have a request or allocation. Attestations can be set up by firm administrators under Access & Admin > Attestation & Ratings.
To create an attestation, enter a unique name and attestation details.
Once you have saved the attestation name and details, you can add rules and parameters to each individual attestation. These rules can be based on event types or users.
After parameters have been outlined, you can set up alerts, reminders and reports. You can give users the ability to attest past the attestation due date, set up individual alerts and create customized digests for attestation activities.
You also have the ability to set up reports, alerts and reminder emails for compliance. You can define which attestations and event details will be included in each report, the frequency at which these reports will be generated and who will be receiving these reports.
Once the attestation workflow has been set up, you can see pending and overdue attestations in your inbox.
