Create and set alerts on the companies important to you from two locations within the Visible Alpha platform.
Setting an Alert from the Activity Feed
From the Activity Feed on the Visible Alpha homepage, select the ‘more options’ (three dot) icon on a company of interest in order to view the ‘Edit Company Alert’ pop-up. Click on the bell icon to activate one or all three alert types, select your email notification preference, and click ‘Set’.
Want to be reminded when a new broker is added to consensus for a company? Select the ‘Change in Coverage’ alert.
Want an alert anytime consensus changes? Select the ‘Consensus Recalculated’ alert.
Want an alert once Visible Alpha has processed an earnings release? Select the ‘Filings Added’ alert.
Managing and Creating an Alert from Alert Settings Screen
Navigate to the ‘Alert Settings’ page through the dropdown panel in the top navigation bar.
From the ‘Alert Settings’ page, create a new alert or manage existing alerts in one place. To create a new alert, select ‘New’ on the right hand side of the page, enter in a ticker and select the alert types you would like activated and your email notification preferences.
Once alerts have been set up, you may edit, delete or enable/disable the alerts all from within this page.
A selection of new charting functionality has been added to the Visible Alpha platform.
Do analysts agree or disagree? By right clicking on any consensus value and selecting Distribution Chart, you can chart the consensus, and high and low estimates in one chart.

High/ Low Distribution Chart
Want to see how estimates have changed over time? Two new charts can help you answer this question.
First, the Daily revisions chart plots every change in consensus over the past year. Second, the Monthly revisions chart takes a snapshot of consensus on the first day of every month over the past two years.
Both charts are available under the Revisions Chart option.

Zoom in between time periods to see how the numbers may have changed. When you have your revisions chart open, click on one point and drag your mouse across the time periods. Choose the ‘reset zoom’ button to reset the chart to its default view.
New Flexible Revisions
Wondering what estimates looked like on a particular date in the past? You now have the flexibility to choose any arbitrary date in the revisions sidebar. This allows you to go as far back as there is data to see how estimates have changed between two dates.
